Welcome, one and all, to yet another installment of Better Know a Gamer! It’s not quite 20 million, but it is number 29, our friend webbut! If you’ve been keeping up with you’re reading, you’d know that webbut won the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix caption contest! Now then, here’s webbut!

Nu: What’s your Gamertag, and what’s the story behind it?
No story really, When I first started using the net I wanted a user name that I could use everywhere and never have to worry about it being taken so I got webbut (pronounced web but not we but).

Nu: How old are you, and what do you do (school, job, family, hobbies)?

At the age of 5 I was told by my doctor I had a muscle weakness in my eye and she recommended I play an hour of video games daily, my mom got me a Sega Genesis!

Nu: Do you still play “only” 1 hour per day? 🙂 How long have you been a 360 owner?
Early this year, im still on my 1st paid for Gold membership.

Nu: Welcome to the Xbox Live Community! Glad you found your way to WinBreak! What was one of your favorite Xbox / Xbox Live moments?
When I first got it I hooked into the living room tv and popped in Halo 3 for my first Live match and in the waiting room some vulgar and racist things were said before i could get my headset in… my entire family was in the room with me.

Nu: Xbox Live can be a dangerous place, it’s true. I’m sure it was exciting, to have your whole family there to witness the big moment, shame it was ruined by people like that. Which Xbox 360 Achievement are you most proud of?
I’m not big on achievements most of the time I’m surprised when I get them.

Nu: I’m surprised, because you have a very high gamerscore for someone who just started playing. Are you currently working toward any achievements?
Nope not really.

Nu: Maybe you will start craving that surprise before much longer? 😉 What game(s) are you playing the most now?
Street Fighter 4, Fallout 3, Ninjatown, and The world Ends With You.

Nu: Yes, a Multi-Platform gamer! Very exciting. What’s playing now (what music do you listen to when away from your Xbox or when listening to music ON your Xbox)?
Rock and electronica mostly System of a Down, Beatles, Incubus, Daft punk, Justice are others.

Nu: Great musical choices, man! Way to know musical roots with The Beatles, too! Do you try to stick with one Gamerpic, or change it frequently?
Well I haven’t had my 360 long, I’m pretty sure I’ve changed it 3 times including today.

Better Know a Gamer: #28: JordanBBad

I have been painfully busy the last few weeks, wrapping up a massive project for work. Still, it was on schedule, and under budget, so I guess all of the time was worth it! I am sorry I have let the site sit in the dark for so long, but it’s now time to really come back in our favorite fashion! With a new Better Know a Gamer! So let’s get right to it!

Nu: What’s your Gamertag, and what’s the story behind it?
JordanBBad (pronounced jor-dan-bee-bad); the BBad prefix was originally my dad’s nickname, and I just took it as my own!

Nu: Where are you from?
Down here in Georgia (USA).

Nu: You and PimpMethod should arrange a meet up – but it is a fairly large state, so maybe you’re nowhere near each other! How old are you, and what do you do (school, job, family, hobbies)?
Only 15 right now, currently a sophomore in Ola High.

Nu: Stay in school, kids! How long have you been gaming in general?
I first picked up a controller at around 5 or 6 years old. Been hooked since!

Nu: How long have you been a 360 owner?
Only about 2 years.

Nu: What was one of your favorite Xbox / Xbox Live moments?
Damn well wasn’t the part where I had to set it up! Jeez, was that frustrating…

Nu: Heh, it was frustrating for me, only because I was impatient! I couldn’t wait to get down to the action! Which Xbox 360 Achievement are you most proud of?
I’m not much for achievements, but when I get one, I just get that almost indescribable rush, especially when it’s like 50 or 100 gamerpoints.

Nu: That’s exactly why it becomes an addiction. Trust me! You’ll own Madden 2006 some day, if you don’t already. 😉 Are you currently working toward any achievements?
Nope, just going at a steady pace, picking up a couple gamerpoints here and fro.

Nu: Good way to game. The best way, in my opinion, then you don’t lose sight of what’s important about the game: it’s playability, rather than just playing for points! What game(s) are you playing the most now?
I’ve been playing a lot of Fallout 3 some time ago, but nowadays I’m just playing whatever’s in mind (and in my arsenal), whether it’s Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Oblivion, Castle Crashers, etc.

Nu: All excellent choices! What’s playing now (what music do you listen to when away from your Xbox or when listening to music ON your Xbox)?
There’s no music on now; just sitting here in front of my computer, watching some House reruns.

Nu: House is an addiction all it’s own. I’ve been bitten by the bug once or twice before. Do you try to stick with one Gamerpic, or change it frequently?
I’ve only changed once, and that was because of the transition into the NXE.

Nu: What is your current favorite Xbox related website to visit?
I dunno. I guess Bungie.net ’cause, ya know, I’m such a diehard fan of Halo.

Nu: What game are you looking most forward to in 2009?
Anything and everything new, innovative, and fun! (Yeah, I dunno a lot about this year regarding gaming…)

Nu: Do you have an all time favorite game, for any console or the PC?
If you’re talking about XBox-related, it would be The Elder Scrolls series and all three Halo’s; otherwise, DEFINITELY The Legend of Zelda series.

Nu: Zelda games are iconic classics. Do you have any gaming buddies you frequently play with / want to make almost as famous as you?
Yep! There’s DasaniAnderson, PLAST1C f0rk, Pillow Torso, HUFF B KILLIN, and many many more.

Nu: Feel free to nominate your friends fr BKAG at any time! Any parting words for the droves of readers?
Thanks for taking your time to read this! I don’t know much about the site, but I’m willing to contribute to it all I can as long as you readers do the same.
Oh, and hi mom!!

Nu: Good kid! Don’t forget to give the link to your mom, and have her email it to her friends too! We try to keep this a family friendly site that anyone can enjoy and learn from! More articles to come this week, thanks for reading the latest Better Know a Gamer!
